Meghan completed her undergraduate degree in Athletic training at Central Michigan University. She continued her education at Texas State University obtaining her master’s degree in physical education. Meghan has been an athletic trainer for 15 years, and has spent the last 6 years at Baylor Medicine. Meghan has been instrumental in starting the sports medicine outreach department. She has won 2 National Championships while at Salisbury University with Field Hockey and Women’s Lacrosse. She has a great deal of international experience and practices medicine with a focus on culturally competent care for patients. On that note, she was the head athletic trainer of the Wales Men’s National Lacrosse team for 10 year, helping the team during 2 World Championships and 1 European Championship. Meghan was recently selected as the new CATA liaison for the NATA, serves on the NATA International Committee and has previously served on SWATA Ethnic Diversity Advisory Council and GHATS. Outside of Athletic Training, Meghan loves to be outdoors and travel with her husband and daughter. Her goal is to visit all 50 states before she turns 50!
